THAT HE DREAMS ALL NIGHT OF GIRLS WHO LOOK LIKE MARILYN MONROE
HE'S EVEN STARTED DANCING, SECRET DANCING

Friday 13th November -CASTING AND FIRST LESSON
I have begun teaching the dance and have casted my dancers.
Mickey - Natasha
Eddie - Amellia
Mrs J - Chloe
Mrs L - Rebecca
Linda - Laura
Sammy - Grace
Narrator - Abigail (Originally Elle)
Reasons for casting:
I have casted these people as certain characters because I am confident in their dance ability.
I have casted Natasha and Amellia as the twins as they are the two that look the most similar in the group and both have a similar dance ability. The person I have casted for Mrs L is able to lift people as I have planned a movement where the narrator is lifted, this is the case as my narrator is for when I need multi roles but still sticking to the narrative. I have cast Laura as Linda because she is the youngest of the group and therefore gave me a reason to cast her as Linda as I needed a younger girl compared to the the two girls playing the mums who look more mature. I have casted Grace as Sammy because I know that she has other things going on so I gave her a character so she could still be involved but I'll be able to teach her part in the class rather than an extra rehearsal. I have casted Chloe as Mrs J as she looks more mature then some of the dancers in the dance and her and Rebecca also have a similar dance ability. I originally had a different girl (Elle) playing the narrator, after speaking to the girls about extra rehearsals and having to perform it at the college she informed me that her parents would not let her do it, therefore I casted Abigail, I chose both girls because they were light enough to be picked up by Rebecca.
This week I taught:
Mickey - Natasha
Eddie - Amellia
Mrs J - Chloe
Mrs L - Rebecca
Linda - Laura
Sammy - Grace
Narrator - Abigail (Originally Elle)
